The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement works to end international support for Israel’s oppression of Palestinians and pressure Israel to comply with international law. Please take a moment to look at this list of companies that the BDS movement is currently targeting and make an effort to avoid purchasing their products as much as possible.
If you’d like to learn more about the BDS movement and how it works, we recommend checking out the How to Boycott Israel w/ BDS Movement North America Coordinator episode of the Empire Files podcast, which gives an excellent overview on the BDS movement in North America. From the description: “Abby Martin is joined by Olivia Katbi, the North America Coordinator for the BDS Movement, to talk about Israel in the 2024 Olympics, Gaza in the context of the presidential election, and everything you need to know about the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement.”
The BDS movement also recently updated their priority targets, pressure targets and organic campaign targets. There’s more information on the reasoning behind each of them on instagram. Make sure you familiarize yourself with the new list!

Participating in BDS just got easier! They recently announced a partnership with the Boycat app, which allows you to check regularly updated BDS targets, scan products, learn about companies, build your ethical shopping profile, join local teams and directly support BDS’s priority campaigns, ensuring your purchasing decisions contribute to a larger movement for justice.
